For the second
year in a row, Mountains of the Moon was chosen as one of
ten finalists for Co-op America's Green Business of the Year
for 2007! Many thanks to all of you who nominated us

RECENT PRESS:
Image Chicago Magazine, Chicago's premier fashion
and entertainment publication, features Mountains of the Moon
owner and head designer Melissa Baswell in their April 2008
piece on Chicago's Best in Eco-Fashion.
Mountains of the Moon was featured in the March issue of
Dance Retailer News, a national magazine for
the dance and yoga lifestyle, in a piece on "must-have styles
for the eco-consumer."
Eco Fling, an online fashion mag that
"features trendy eco-friendly
clothes, shoes, jewelry, household items and more," showcased
our
Daisy Gauchos
in their February 11th issue, calling them "very chic!"

Living Green Magazine
Items from Mountains of the Moon's fall collection
(including our Audrey Dress, Morgan Pants and Brooke
Top) can be seen in the fall issue of Indiana
Living Green Magazine, in their back-to-school
article Green Garments Spell Classroom Chic. The
article states that "Mountains of the Moon offers
students a wider range of styles in high-quality
clothing made from eco-friendly fabrics than they can

describes itself as "reflecting the needs of the next wave of

'green' into their buying decisions," recently featured our
Bamboo Eco-Fashionista zip-up women's hoodies. You can

was named one of the top picks by
Craft Revolution magazine for the Hottest Fashion Trends
for spring/summer. Craft Revolution is a national
association for independent fashion designers.
